Moving to another country is a huge life event for most people, and something that an increasing number of people will do in their lifetime. We think that this makes for an interesting lesson topic alone, but add in football and your students will have plenty to talk about!

In this video lesson, you’ll watch Lucy Bronze, English professional footballer and former Barça player discuss her experience of moving to Barcelona.

As a fun activity, students will be put in a footballer’s shoes, and have to choose the location of their next transfer, with all its pros and cons. We then end with a rich discussion on the challenges that relocating for work brings.
